About Brittany

I believe therapy can be an art
An art where we can learn and unlearn
Where we can connect and are not separate from
Our happiness or our pain
From ourselves or each other
From our ancestors or the land
From our bodies
I believe therapy is a community
A community of love
A place to be valued and a place to be seen
A place we can hurt and a place we can heal
Where we can laugh, and we can cry
I believe therapy can be a place to unravel
A place to reimagine
Reimagine that we are everything we need
When we are in need together
Where we can challenge systems of supremacy
And soften the internalized violence all of us carry
A place where we can return to our collective wisdom and resilience
Our collective joy and play
Our collective responsibility
I believe therapy is a place we can evolve
And a place where we can actualize some goddamn systemic change
Not only for ourselves but for one another
For those who came before us and for those who will come after
We are here, and we are in this together
There is so much beauty that glimmers in the darkness, and there is so much light that surrounds us, always
I am here to embrace, I am here to embody, I am here to belong
And baby, you belong here, too

I dwell in possibility – Emily Dickinson

INNER CHILD/YOUNGER ME:

“Nurture the child within, even as the world divides—compassion begins where innocence remains.”
